The Beach is a series watercolours based on old holiday snaps. In the1970's Charter Trips were something new and exciting for holiday makers. I like to express this feeling of fun and excitement and the unique in the everyday moments I find in the old photographs. In order to avoid being precious about my work I gave myself the task to complete one piece of work every day for one month.
The result is 31 drawings, photos and paintings based on old film stills, photographs or still life.

The Doll Series show interactions between dolls and human is made through spontaneous poses which is photographed using a timer. With reference from the paintings I paint large watercolours.
